Not sure where to begin? Answer eight questions and I'll point you at five to eight chapters of 101 Ways to Win an Election by Mark Pack and Edward Maxfield, in the order that makes sense for your situation. It's a starting plan, not the campaign, and it's no substitute for reading the book.

How it works

The book divides campaigning into four elements plus leadership: your message, your team, your resources, and how you communicate. Your answers point at whichever element is the weakest link right now. You get three chapters from that element, plus a couple from elsewhere that are urgent anyway, sequenced from this week to the long game. Nothing you type is stored.
